PINE HILL DAIRY, Barbados' sole manufacturer and processor of dairy products,
will again this year mount a decorative display of its extensive product line
at the World Food Day exhibition October 16.
This year special emphasis will be placed on milk. While the display will
highlight the dairy's full range of nutritional milks, fruit juice and drinks,
the dairy will also provide its flavoured milks.
Additionally, to commemorate World Food Day, the dairy, in conjunction with
the Barbados Agricultural Society (BAS), also provided flavoured milk to two
of the island's primary schools during the week leading up to the observance.
The dairy, which has long been involved in providing milk to schools on a
regular basis, is now in the process of refining its school milk programme for
1994.
Pine Hill has also been working steadfastly in its fruit juice product
development and today utilises local guavas and cherries in its juice
products.
The dairy is doing even more to bolster the local non-sugar agriculture
sector
through its regional and extra-regional export thrust.
