Fogging in St. John and St. Philip

THE Ministry of Health's fogging campaign to rid the island of the dengue fever-spreading Aedes Aegypti mosquito, moves to St. John and St. Philip this week, starting at 4:30 p.m. daily.

Fogging will take place today in Top Rock, Maxwell Gardens, Hilton Road, Laynes Road, Moravian Road, Fairholme Gardens, Hythe Gardens, Cane Vale, Welches, Ashby Land, Cane Vale Road, Maxwell Hill and its environs.

Tomorrow, Rendezvous Gardens, Rendezvous Terrace, Amity Lodge, Amity Lodge Gardens, Worthing, Graeme Hall Swamp and the surrounding districts will be fogged.

Several districts in St. John will be blanketed by fog during the latter half of the week.

On Wednesday, the team will target Sealy Hall, Consett Bay, Sargeant Street, Society, Welches Village, Coach Hill, Colleton Tenantry, Haynes Hill, Glebe and Pot House.

Districts which will be visited on Thursday include Foster Hall, Martins Bay, Zoars, St. Margaret's, Glenburnie, Newcastle, Church View and Clifton Hall Tenantry.

Carters, Spooners, Roebuck, Bowmanston, Pool Land, Gall Hill, Gall Hill Nos. 1 & 2, Cheshire, Small Town and the surrounding districts will be fogged on Friday.

Residents of the areas which will be visited should keep their windows and doors open to allow the fog to enter. However, persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog.
