Botanical gardens
The botanical gardens is the home
of a Sisserou and six
Jaco parrots in captivity. This aviary
will be used to breed the two species
so that in the event of any natural
disasters, the parrots can be used
to repopulate the wild

This mountain range is about
4,000 feet above sea level and
is the only know home of Dominica's
national bird. The bird was wiped out
by hunting and natural disasters
in others areas of Dominica
